Goodmorning,
I'd like to vent for just a moment about an Aspen situation. Like most of us, I pay from invoices which I usually attach to monthly statements. I don't pay on imaginary invoices and I pay on time (supposing I get the monthly statements in a timely fashion) . I have yet to figure out when Aspen sends out their statements. It seems I get none at or or several within a week.
Anyways, they turned one of my charges over to a collection agency. I called the agency and requested a copy of the invoice in question. Then, I waited- - 10 days as told; 20 days (God only knows in the end how many days) while waiting with this supposedly unpaid charge sitting on my desk needing to be resolved. Finally, I called again today only to be told that Aspen had notified the collection agency that they had received payment. Date of notification was 5/21. No one bothered to call me back or tell me that it had been resolved.
Another sample of great customer relations. Thanks Aspen.
And thanks to my fellow Law-libbers for the air time. I feel better now.
