AALL keeps two main press lists for distribution of its news and services.
The first list is our "internal list," which contains names of AALL leaders.
This includes chapter presidents, SIS chairs, and chapter and SIS newsletter
editors, as well as the current list of ALA-accredited library schools.
The second list is the "external list," containing names from legal and
library media, such as the ABA Journal and Library Journal. Information
Today is currently not on the external list, but I'll add it for future

has anyone noticed that AALL is not included in the discussions of library
association meetings, etc. In the "Calendar" sectionof Information Today
there is mention of the SLA conference and the ALA conference. Not a
peep on the AALL conference. An article on library automation systems
in the same issue mentions the SLA and ALA conferences (vendors
showing their wares). Is AALL chopped liver?
