MS Word's "spell-check and replacement" facility is indeed a truly
wonderful piece of technology !!

When I was last in London, in 1992, I recall a delightful item printed in
the Guardian, about the dangers of wordprocessor spell-checks. Apparently a
senior UK government official had sought to type a document referring to
the (then) Foreign Secretary, Douglas Hurd. The spellchecker responded
"Hurd unknown. Try turd".

I doubt that the author did. :->))

'Avagoodday !!
