New to the law library profession? Looking for a way to learn about
AALL and meet other law librarians in a relaxed, fun atmosphere?
Plan to attend the 1998 Conference of Newer Law Librarians (CONELL)
scheduled for Saturday, July 11 in Anaheim. CONELL, a tradition of
the AALL Annual Meeting for more than twenty years, is designed to
welcome newer members of the profession to the organization,
introduce them to the Association and its leaders, and provide a
setting for newer members to become acquainted with each other.

If you are a law librarian having 5 or fewer years experience and
attending your first or second Annual Meeting, please register to
attend CONELL 1998! Registration information is included in the
Annual Meeting Registration Form. Registration is $70.

This year's conference will include remarks by AALL President Judy
Meadows; the CONELL Marketplace, featuring representatives from AALL
Committees and Special Interest Sections (SIS); and an "Ask the
Experts" session where participants will have an opportunity to talk
with librarians from different types of libraries who will share
information about their careers and opportunities in the profession.
The conference will include lunch at the Twin Palms Restaurant in
Newport Beach followed by a visit to the Orange County Museum of Art.

Make your plans now to join other newer members of AALL at CONELL
1998!
