Hello:
In the June 1998 issue of _Bytes in Brief_, I found the announcement
below, of an FTC request for comment on a proposed policy which would
specify the applicability of FTC Guidelines, including the Guides for the
Law Book Industry, to the electronic environment. The announcement is at
63 Fed. Reg. 24,996 (1998). The FTC press release is at:
http://www.ftc.gov/opa/9805/interbus.htm .
Deadline for comments is July 7, 1998.
Is anyone at the AALL Washington Affairs Office, or at CRIV, working on
this?
Rob Richards
