I think Tracy has a good idea, and I'm interested, but that is not why I
write. I was wondering if others found the information provided in the AALL
Convention program less than adequate. Having served in local arrangements
hell, I can understand some of the oversights, but some important information
is missing:

-Do children stay for free in the hotels? (this is also not mentioned on the
web page - critical to many given this year's location).
-What is the cost of hotel parking? (since everyone says you need to drive to
get anywhere).
-What is the tax on rooms? (critical as we attempt to arrive at funding for
interested staff).
-For what time period does the convention rate apply? (for those of us
interested in arriving early or staying late).

And can anyone make sense of the room rates?

Sorry for venting in a public forum, but given the importance in prior years
of getting in your hotel reservation early to assure your first choice a
little more information would have been nice.
