Hello-
I have a student who is looking for firms, companies, schools, or
whatever who provide a job health bank.
By this, he means a bank where employees can donate leave to another
employee who needs it, or draw against it if they are suddenly in need.
Often it is used in times of accident or long term illness, where the
employee may use up all of their leave prior to being able to return to
work.
He understands that this concept is used frequently in the federal
government, but he is looking for information on other areas that have
similar arrangements.
If you know of an institution that provides such benefits, would you
mind forwarding their names to me, and I'll pass them along.
