I think Ellen makes a great point, and I agree with the
statement she makes about direct mail. I do not need more
paper to clutter my desk, especially for titles that have been
around for years (not to mention they're sending the same
stuff directly to the attorneys). I would much rather use a
searchable publications catalog on a publisher's website to
find out what's available when I have the need for it. Or how
about e-mailing notification of new titles?

Gee, how much money could be saved if West eliminated
all that mail????
