Please excuse the reposting of this request and my lack of response
should the first message have gotten out and any of you responded. Our
Internet connection has been down for a week or so. Unfortunately, at
least part of the time, there were no error messages bounced back to
anyone who tried to contact me. I am asking that any of you who have
time Monday resend your message or write a new one.
I am to participate in a program on job search strategics and tips for
MLS students. My small portion covers Special Libraries. I would like
any comments from those recently hired or from those of you who do the
hiring regarding tips and ideas. Where/how do you advertize a position?
What attracts your attention in a resume or letter and what skill sets
do you look for?
I would like to know basic information about what sort of library you
have but I will not identify the name of the library or city or person
if I use your tip.
Thanks for your time
Cherie
