Hey y'all -
Just when West Group seems to be cleaning up its act another
publisher rip-off rears its ugly head.
The serials clerk here called CCH with a routine claim. It seems
that we had not received anything for *Internal Revenue Manual
- Audit* since March '97 or for *Internal Revenue Manual -
Administration* since August '97. She was told that neither service
had been updated since our last releases, nor were any updates in the
works. Since we are now near the end of the subscription period for
these two titles, she asked if we would be given any sort of credit
due to the lack of material. The answer was a resounding NO. We can
expect, in a few months, another invoice for the full amount to renew
both titles.
Bottom line, we have been charged $1,141 for the privlege of having
these books sit on our shelves.
Am I missing something here?
