(Cross posted-Excuse the Duplication, please!)
Michael St. Onge indicated that there were no law librarians speaking at LegalTech in New York (in progress as we speak), however, I got a quick note from Betsy Klampert, Assoc of the Bar of City of NY Library, who wanted everyone to know that she is indeed moderating a program at LegalTech on Wednesday called The Virtual Law Office So, although it is a small presence, it is a start! Betsy should make a fine representative for our profession and hopefully, next year we can increase that presence!
As a side, I am active on the TechShow Board for the ABA show in Chicago http://www.techshow.com
March 26-28, 1998 and in that capacity, am responsible for planning a number of programs, including getting speakers. I am pleased to announce that Kathy Shimpock, Muchmore & Wallwork, P.C., Sabrina Pacifici, Director of Library and Research Services, Sidley & Austin and myself will all be speaking on a number of programs. Sabrina spoke last year and received high marks for her exceptional presentation on Intranets.
Just wanted to give you all a heads up on these upcoming events. It would be great if anyone could attend these dynamic seminars!
