I have received a number of replies on my request for
information on Jones McClure Publishing and the O'Connor
rule book.
Apparently both the publisher and author are well thought
of particularly in the State of Texas where the publisher
seems to have a number of titles. The biggest selling
point for the O'Connor book is the author's commentaries
and annotations for the rules which attorneys find
exceptionally helpful.
As with most titles the purchasing decision varies widely
from giving both titles to litigators, a choice one or the
other, buying a couple of the O'Connor for the library with
desk copies of West.
