I accidentally deleted Beth Langton's message about a court case
on tomatoes being a vegetable rather than a fruit, and in the
process lost her address.
At http://www.produceoasis.com the information is given that in
1893 the Supreme Court ruled that the tomato be regarded as a
vegetable, although botanically it is still a fruit. However, it doesn't
give the exact cite.
Beth, hope this sheds some light on the matter.
