RE: "Search Pros Out of Work?"

I, too, found it interesting that the link provided to the LAT did not
perform as advertised. I had to run two searches in the LAT "find" to
locate the article. I first had to discern whether the article would
have fallen into the "Hunter" category or the "Archives" category. Luck
for me the original post had the date or I would have had to run several
searches, illustrating why the last line of the article is quite
prophetic (to keep people from wondering what it is, here it is:
"Quint, though, remains optimistic: "Once people who need good
information realize the poor quality of information they're getting
versus the quality of information they could get," she said, "the
information professional will rise again." " LAT 12/17/97).
