Academic Library Technical Support For Xmn8r

Greetings!
Several of our faculty members are giving their students the option
to use Xmn8r (the artful software formerly known as Examinator) in lieu
of bluebooks or typewriters. I would like to know the policies that
other law libraries have adopted with respect to the technical support
(if any) they will make available to students during the actual exams.
We set up a schedule well in advance of the exam period to assist
students who encountered problems with installation, and each student is
expected to complete a checklist covering the preparations (such as
running DEFRAG) that must be followed prior to the exam. We are now
trying to determine the appropriate level of support to offer while the
exams are taking place. Most of the exam proctors will be trained in the
basics, so our concern is with situations where a greater level of
expertise may be needed.
Thanks to Timothy Blevins's helpful article at
(http://www.law.stetson.edu/faculty/blevins/xmn8r.htm),
I am aware of the telephone support available from ExamSoft.
If your school is using Xmn8r, I would appreciate hearing about the
level of technical support that you provide during the exams.
   Thanks!
