Colleagues,
After all the discussion on volunteers for AALL committees, I'm pleased (I
think) to report that 193 individuals have volunteered to serve on
committees in 1998-99. (We may even go slightly above that number).
The table below shows the number of volunteers during the past 7 years.
The 1st page article in Spectrum, broad email distribution, having the
form available in aallnet -- and, presumably, the recent discussion on
this list -- all contributed to the large number of volunteers.
