FYI -
Those of you who use the check cite features and software from
Lexis for California cases, please note that Insta-Cite is currently more
up-to-date than Auto-Cite. We run our documents through CheckCite
primarily.
It was pointed out, by opposing counsel, that a few California Court of
Appeal decisions in one of our pleadings . . . which we ran through
CheckCite . . . were up on review to the California Supreme Court.
"Review filed" along with the date is now included in Insta-Cite, AND
this information is NOT included in Auto-Cite. I have contacted Lexis
Customer Service. They are going to verify this and get back to me. I
just wanted to warn all of you. I am presently not a subscriber to lawlib
and apologize if this has already been discussed.
