I've been asked to dig up some material on the history of prosecution in
the U.S. and England. I've checked on RLIN for book titles using title and
subject searches and haven't found anything useful. I've looked for law
review articles generally on the topic hoping to find footnotes to primary
source material that could be helpful, but no luck. Does anyone have any
ideas or know of any sources or perhaps may have seen something buried in a
treatise or text? This doesn't have to be an in-depth discussion of the
topic, only a general overview of how prosecution evolved over time.
Thanks for anything you can do. Please reply to me directly.
