The David C. Shapiro Memorial Law Library of the College of Law at
Northern Illinois University announces the following position vacancy:
RESEARCH / INSTRUCTIONAL SERVICES LIBRARIAN
Twelve month, tenure track position with rank of assistant professor.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's Degree in Library Science from an ALA accredited library
school and JD from an ABA accredited law school, extensive knowledge
of traditional and computer-assisted legal research methods, excellent
communications skills, and a strong service orientation. Experience in a
law library with emphasis on public services highly desirable.
Responsible for providing reference and research support to all law
library users; expect substantial involvement in legal research teaching.
Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
