Foreign law research is not something I'm accustomed to and I'm trying to
locate copies of two German banking laws translated into English. They
are the Check Act and the Uniform Check Act. The Matthew Bender set
"Business Transactions in Germany" does not contain them and I have been
unable to locate English versions of these statutes on the Internet.
Also, the attorney was wondering if there were any other treatises in
English pertaining to German banking laws or something along the lines of
"Checks, Drafts and Notes." I have gotten a few leads from the
Reynolds/Flores "Foreign Laws" book, but I would appreciate suggestions
from others.
