Canadian Securities Law

As always, please excuse duplicate postings...

I'm looking for a general reference book - treatise, horn book, nutshell,
whatever - explaining the securities law system in Canada - i.e., laws and
regulations governing the public and private offering of securities. I
understand that the Canadian securities system is different in several
respects from the U.S. system - i.e., the securities commission is
provincial rather than national, the stock exchanges play a significant
role in the registration of companies' securities, etc. - and we need a
general field guide to the system. Sorry I can't be more specific, but you
know how corporate attorneys are. Any help is much appreciated, and
postage, fedex or whatever will be paid for, of course. Thanks!
