I have not tracked library costs for a number of years and suddently have
to produce some information. Has anyone collected spending information
for law firm libraries (excluding cost of personnel) regarding any of the
following:
(1) amount per attorney spent on the library collection annually
(2) percentage of gross revenue spent on library collection
(3) reduction (in $$) of hard copy in favor of online or CD-ROM
(4) percentage of collection (in $$) that is CD-ROM
Also, I have seen many postings expressing dissatisfaction with CD-ROM
products. If anyone has collected the comments, I would love to have a
copy.
I have explored LEXIS and AALL's site and found some potentially useful
sources but no useful information. If anyone knows where I could find
some statistics, I would be most grateful.
TIA
