Linda and law-lib are absolutely fantastic. So is Eric Kaufman of the NY
Lawyers' Assoc.
Yesterday, I did back flips trying to find an FCC "case."
(TelePrompTer v. Washington Water Power PA 800020 (1981)
WESTLAW and WEST Reference Attorneys could not find it. (I'm still not
convinced that the case isn't in their database, somewhere.)
LEXIS is still researching the issue (I'll probably pay big bucks for this.)
I try not to burden law-lib unduly. And I feel guilty about not beating the
experts to the solution; they're so fast.
Anyway, Linda Gray of BellSouth of Atlanta GA, without question or
renumeration, FAXes the case. And I still can't figure out what kind of
case it is. I see a citation to "50 RR 2d CASES." Never heard of this
Reporter. No page numbers either. Hmmm.
Eric (NY) checked FCC Rpts & FCC Rpts 2d for me. He suggested
WESTLAW's FCOM-ALL database (Alice of WEST tried it with no
results.) Eric's coup de grace was to recommend that I contact WWP's
Corporate Counsel. But that's who wanted the case.
Oh well. All's well that ends well. Thanks again Linda.
