I have an attorney seeking the local tax rate on services performed in
Niger (not Nigeria), Africa. Needed by tomorrow, of course. Can anyone
recommend anything? I've already looked in the Price Waterhouse "Doing
Business In..." series and on the Internet with little success. This isn't
a real popular country in the tax publictions I am familiar with. I have
the phone number for Niger's Ambassador is Washington, DC, but I wanted to
check with the pros before I went that route.
I have learned that their civil law is based on French law. Can anyone
confirm this is true for their tax law as well?
