Good morning,

Thank you to the librarians at the 45 academic law libraries who replied
to this questionnaire I submitted to the list on July 28, 1997. The
answers are compiled below.

1. Do the librarians, other than the Director, at your school have faculty
   status?

   YES, HAVE FACULTY STATUS--15
   NO FACULTY STATUS---------30

2. If your librarians have faculty status, are they members of the law
   faculty or a separate faculty such as a library faculty?

3. Are the non-Director librarians, regardless of faculty status,
   tenure-track or non-tenured, or do they have some other form of
