Hi, Mary Ann!
As you might expect, our attorneys are primarily interested in the
natural gas matters at FERC, rather than hydroelectric concerns. There
are a couple of sources we use, though, that are of general interest:
1. FERC Practice and Procedure Manual, published by the Thompson
Publishing Group [not to be confused with Thomson] (800) 677 3789;
2. Federal Energy Regulatory Commission Reporter, published by CCH;
and
3. Inside F.E.R.C., a weekly newsletter published by the McGraw-Hill
Companies (800) 223 6180.
These should at least provide a good starting point for building a
collection. Good luck!

My legal office is getting more involved in FERC issues. Mainly my
Chief
Counsel would prefer our attorneys handle our FERC matters rather than
outside counsel. I have no background in this area and would like to
know
if there are practice books which anyone would recommend.
I'd appreciate any recommendations. Thanks very much.
