       Westminster Cemetery (Adjacent to the Marshall Law Library of the
       University of Maryland Law School) November 17, 1875.

  For military history buffs:

    * First fort built by the United States Government -
       Fort McHenry (1798).

    * Birthplace of the Star-Spangled Banner, written by Francis Scott Key,
       while held prisoner on a British War Ship during the bombardment of
       Fort McHenry (September 12-14, 1814).
