Cross posted to Law-lib and Privatelawlib -- sorry for any duplication.

MetLife is at the point of purchasing Sydney Plus for our law library. I
have heard about a number of problems cataloging legal materials, and I
have been told "catalog everything as a book, to get around the irregular
serials problem", and "catalog everything as a serial".

What do you all do? Is there a consensus? What else should I know, going
in?

I will be more than happy to summarize responses for the list.
