Dear all - this has been a development long-awaited by me - a new
group for discussion of international tax issues. The instructions
for subscribing are below. Other tax law discussion groups can be
found by checking my "Law Lists" at

http://www.lib.uchicago.edu/cgi-bin/law-lists

or

http://www.lib.uchicago.edu/~llou/lawlists/info.html

And also at http://www.abanet.org/discussions/open.html

"Tax practitioners, law professors and law librarians from around the
world are invited to join in the discussion of international tax law
and practice. The group will cover taxation of cross-border
activities and holdings of "foreign" nationals and entitites as well
as non-tax legal aspects, tax involved in planning for inbound and
outbound transactions"

(Membership in the ABA is not necessary to subscribe and participate)

Tchau!

International Tax Discussion Group

The INT-TAX, international tax law discussion group, is open for business. As you may recall from earlier messages about organizing this group, it is sponsored by the Tax Section of the American Bar Association. This new group is a spin off of the ABA-TAX discussion group, which is also hosted at the ABANET.ORG site.

You can subscribe by sending an email to LISTSERVER@ABANET.ORG (note that LISTSERVER ends with an ER) with the following as the first line of the text of your request:

subscribe INT-TAX

We also have a read and write access Web page for the INT-TAX group at:

http://www.c2.com:8000/InternationalTaxGroup

Note that there is a colon between com and 8000. You may both read and write to these Web pages. We will be using this Web site as a place to share information about international and country specific tax resources. Hopefully over time this will turn into a valuable research tool.

We will maintain an archive of recent INT-TAX discussion group messages at:

http://www.c2.com:8000/InternationalTaxGroup_Archive

Looking forward to your participation. Thanks,

John http://www.c2.com:8000/JohnDeBruyn -- John DeBruyn <jdebruyn@usa.net> Denver Colorado USA -----------------
