I am research fringe benefit programs for our firm, and one "fringe
benefit" I encountered is a policy on unused sick leave. Some
organizations compensate employees for perfect attendance records or
unused sick leave. Others allow employees to take paid time off in
return for unused sick leave. This policy is credited as encouraging
employees to use sick time more wisely.
What I cannot find are specific formulas or examples as to how other law
firms handle such a policy.
Any input would be appreciated. Thank you!
Laura
