While researching FOIA for a NYCLA member, I came across an excellent web
site that contains a wealth of information on this popular subject.

The Society of Professional Journalists (http://www.spj.org) has a web page
with a link to their FOIA site (http://www.spj.org/foia/index.htm). Below
are just a few of the wonderful resources available:

1: Guides to filing a FOIA request: including sample forms & practical advice.
2: State by state listing of access laws and contacts.
3: Federal agency contacts with links to their web sites..
4: State by state charts for permanent and experimental rules, governing TV
cameras in the courtroom.

Plus articles (Feinberg, Lotte E. The day LBJ signed the act) & court decisions.

This is definitely a must check out site.

Regards,
Eric
