AALL Annual Meeting Housing Update

The latest report from the Baltimore Convention & Visitors Association Housing Bureau shows that housing is still available for the 1997 AALL Annual Meeting, although some properties are sold out on some nights. Our conference manager is working with the Housing Bureau to determine the advisability of booking overflow housing; an update will be posted within ten days. If you are experiencing difficulty with your housing arrangements, please continue to work with the Housing Bureau; the Bureau is responsible for all housing assignments for the AALL Annual Meeting.

It has been our experience that some members reserve more rooms than they need; if your plans have changed and you do not need rooms which you have booked, please notify the Housing Bureau immediately.

The Association Room block is based upon the housing patterns of prior years (the number of rooms actually used by AALL members on various nights throughout the meeting). The number of rooms booked for 1997 is consistent with that pattern and actually slightly greater than the number of rooms actually used in 1995 and 1996.

If you have further questions or concerns, please keep me informed.
