Fellow list members:
We have a student who is looking for the report of the
advisory committee on evidence. They made some
proposals to the Federal Rules of Evidence that will go into
effect at the end of this year if Congress takes no action.
The student is looking for the report of this committee. We
have tried all of the ususal places, including the advance
sheets for reporters, USCCAN, Lexis, Westlaw, and the
Internet. The student was told by a Westlaw reference
attorney that the report is not on Westlaw, but is published in
the advance sheets for the Federal Rules Reporter (sic).
Since we have nothing by that name, we tried the Federal
Rules Digest, but found nothing.
I would appreciate any ideas as to how to find this report. If
anyone knows, please let me know. Thank you in advance.
