I am doing an informal survey regarding the of autonomy of law firm
librarians in book selection. I would appreciate your assistance in
answering the following five questions.
1. To what extent are attorneys or other non-librarians
involved in the selection of materials for the law library?
A. Seldom B. Somewhat or C. Very Involved
2. Is approval required before purchasing items above a
certain dollar amount? If so, above what dollar amount and who must
approve?
3. What is the size (volume equivalent) of your law
library's collection ?
4. What is dollar amount of your annual book budget.
5. Has your collection development policy or criteria for
selection changed in the past three years due to the continuing
development of electronic data. Please explain.
