There is a FREE software product which is terrific. I know because our
libraries purchased long before it was free, and even when it was
expensive it was worth it.

The INMAGIC company is now offering their DOS software as freeware. They
are no longer supporting their DOS product line (i.e. no tech support)
and you can download it from their web site. www.inmagic.com

You will want to download Inmagic Plus - the database software - and
Library Guide - a set of predefined data structures and report formats
designed for a variety of library functions.

This is a powerful and very flexible database program. You can modify
the Library Guide predefined templates. It may take a while to learn the
fine points but the cost can't be beat.
