I just received a letter stating that "we have exceeded the amount of
rooms allotted to your conference for the dates requested." I
received a confirmation for only three nights and the letter goes on
to say that one can contact area hotels for room availability. I did
just that and, while rooms are available, the rates are considerably
higher. This is pretty outrageous.
I have a call into AALL, perhaps they can do someothing to get us the
convention rates.
