Law Librarian

The Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System is looking
for a Law Librarian to manage the operations of its law library
as well as the Legal Division's records management program. The
individual will be responsible for managing automated law library
and records systems, as well as establishing policies for the
acquisition of library material, the organization and maintenance
of the library collection, and the provision of legal and
legislative reference and research services, including the
effective use of services such as Lexis-Nexis, Westlaw, CD-ROM,
the Internet and in-house databases.
The ideal candidate will have the skills and experience necessary
to select and implement computer technology applications in a law
library and records setting; a Master's Degree in Library
Science; 7-8 years of experience in a progressive law library
environment, and at least three years of managing a law library
and library staff; excellent oral and written communications
skills and planning, managerial and organizational abilities.
Records management experience is helpful.
