Please note that the AALL Committee on Diversity is sponsoring a diversity
symposium, entitled "Preparing for the Twenty-First Century: Workplace
Diversity," on Saturday, July 19, 1997, from 1:00 p.m.-4:45 p.m. The
program is free, but pre-registration is required. The preliminary program
contains information about the symposium on page 33; however, these changes
have occurred: Dennis Hayashi, Director of the Office for Civil Rights,
has agreed to be the keynote speaker, and Vickie Hamby is the newly
designated speaker from E.I. du Pont. Feel free to contact me regarding
any further information about the symposium.
