LEGISLATIVE LIBRARIAN

Crowell & Moring has an opening for a legislative librarian,
and qualified candidates are invited to submit applications.
The successful candidate will have a Masters in Library
Science from an ALA-accredited school, excellent written
and oral communication skills, and a working knowledge of
all major online databases, Internet resources and Windows
software applications. Preference will be given to candidates
with experience in a law firm library or in a legislative
environment.

The duties of the position include performing legislative
research for C&M attorneys and clients, monitoring a wide
variety of legislative issues, disseminating legislative activity
information through LENS, our electronic delivery service,
C&M Hillights, our monthly legislative newsletter, and
traditional SDI formats, conducting research training
programs, legislative collection development and
management, and other general library projects, including
legal and financial research and reference.

The salary range is competitive and commensurate with
