Our Clerk of Court has just called to my attention the
Association of Legal Administrators' journal LEGAL
MANAGEMENT's March/April issue, beginning on p.37 wherein a
10-page article entitled "Library of Progress" describes the
Baker & McKenzie maneuver. The article quotes AALL-ED Roger
Parent among others, and also profiles the new Boston
College Law School Library and its innovations. Not since
Joan Axelroth's contributions to the WASHINGTON LAWYER have
I seen such practically focused and effectively targeted
writing on law library management. Bravo to authors David
Freriks and Michael Bourque for properly cataloging the
Baker move for the ALA's 24,000+ members and subscribers.
