On Wednesday night, CBS broadcast a television special called "Enter
the Jury Room." Our library is interested in acquiring a videotape of this,
and one of our professors remembers a commentator stating at the end
of the program that law libraries would receive free copies.
According to a press release, "CBS News had support from the
American Bar Association for this project and, in conjunction with the
ABA, will make videotapes of the jury deliberations available to law
libraries." This doesn't use the word "free" and phone calls to both CBS
and the ABA lead us to believe that they won't be. Still, my colleagues
and I are curious.
Does anyone know anything about this?
