We are finding similar patterns to the one you noticed with Am Jur Legal
Forms. Here are some examples, with comparisons to the previous year.

5 vols. vs. 6 vols. this year +28%
Cost per volume + 6.6%
9/94-4/95 vs. 9/95-4/96

New Jersey Supreme Court Reports
9/95-4/96 vs. 9/96-4/97
3 vols. vs. 4 vols. this year +44%
Cost per volume + 7.8%

In addition, we see large increases in the annual charges for annual
pocket parts over the previous year. Here are a few examples:
West's Bankruptcy Digest +17.6%
West's Federal Practice Digest 4th +17%
West's Georgia Digest 2d +20%
West's Massachusetts Digest 2d +23.54%
West's Michigan Digest 2d +21.8%
West's Wisconsin Statutes Annotated +12.5%
To make matters worse, customer service has nose-dived; no one at West
seems to be able to resolve problems, including those created by
poor implementation of the recent mergers. In the transition from LCP &
CBC to West, the vendors' account numbers have been garbled, mixing our faculty
members' personal accounts with those of the library. There
is confusion as to which of 3 reps is our library's "real" West rep.
