Firms--Office copies provided?

The Library Committee has decided to do something again! I have performed
this survey locally, but as we are the largest firm in town, I would really
like to hear from some other larger firms (I guess 150 and up--no complaints
please).
Right now, the Library provides each attorney with approximately one book that
they need to practice: rules of court, statutes volume in their area, Master
Tax Guide, etc. The Committee would like to consider alternatives to this
practice. Does anyone provide a "office book budget"? Does anyone give
people whatever they want? How about a selected list of things to choose
from? I'm not sure what other options may be out there. As I said, I am
particularly interested in what larger firms are doing because of the huge
investment when dealing with more than 150 attorneys.
I look forward to some response and will summarize if I get anything.

Oh, one more note, the Library Committee meet s at 8 am on Monday, so I will
be gathering your responses over the weekend for this meeting.

Thanks.
