My brother writes dictionaries for a living (really!). He has come across a
stumper and called me.
Has anyone heard the term: Student-at-Law?
He thinks it is used in Canada for what we normally call a law clerk.
Actually, it is someone who has completed law school but has not taken any
qualifiying exams out in their year of internship.
I would appreicate any other thoughts on this term.

Thanks

Anne
