With apologies for the lateness of the summary, here are the results of
my request for trivia questions. Thanks to all who responded,
especially Nancy McMurrer and Louella Randall, who shared their own hard
work (Nancy's & Mary Whisner's is included at the end, unfortunately I
don't have an electronic copy of Louella's but it is great); Sandra
Buchan, who faxed me some pages from ALA-published
"The Whole Library Handbook" by George M. Eberhart (1995). (We eally
liked it--I think we're going to buy it, by the way), Liz Walsh, who
recommended same;
Stephen Jordan (I would love to know where you came up with those
