I have been asked to identify the composer and name of a song which
was sung in a movie. I've very little information to go on but the folks on
law-lib did such a good job with the "gorilla question" that I thought I'd
give it a shot.
Here's the info we have but I wouldn't vouch for the reliability of the
attorney's film knowledge:
1) The movie supposedly came out last year.
2) The attorney saw it on a cable channel sometime between Christmas
and New Year's Day.
3) He neither saw the opening or closing credits.
4) The film was about Native Americans of the Pacific Northwest or
Canada.
5) The film may have been Canadian.
6) The song had something to do with riding in a car.
The film was not DEAD MAN and the song was not Geronimo's Cadillac
by Michael Murphey.
Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
