For those who are interested, Adobe will be making the content of *.PDF
files searchable (by use of a search engine) for both CD ROM and Web
applications. I was at a 1/2 day seminar today, which was mostly about
the graphics and production end, but I got to ask the question, and it's
in the book ("PDF Printing and Publishing: The definitive Guide to Adobe
Acrobat 3.0" by Andersson, Eisley, Howard, Romano, and Witkowski, just
printed this month by Micro Publishing Press, 2340 Plaza Del Amo, Suite
100, Torrance, CA 90501, 310-212-5802. It's ISBN 0-941845-22-2.
Neither "search" nor "find" is in the index, but searchability is
covered in Ch. 2.
