Position opening, Head of Public Services

From: TOM HANLEY (HANLEY@data.lib.udayton.edu)
Date: Thu Mar 27 1997 - 12:58:23 PST

Dear Colleague:

We have an exciting opportunity opening at the University of Dayton
Law Library. Our opening is for a new position entitled Head of
Public Services Librarian. Our perfect candidate would have a J.D.
and an M.L.S., but we are encouraging experienced M.L.S. holders
who do not have the J.D. to apply as well. Our successful
candidate would become a tenure-track member of the law library
faculty. Probably the most exciting aspect of our new position is
the opportunity to work in our new building in which every library
seat will be wired to allow network access to databases, CD-ROM's,
and the Internet and in which we will have a state-of-the-art
computer training center. We are scheduled to move to the new
building this summer and to commence the Fall semester in our new
digs.

I have included a copy of our advertisement for this new position
at the bottom of this message. If you are interested and meet
our requirements, please apply at your earliest convenience. Please
also bring this notice to the attention of others who might be
interested in our position.

If you or any other potential candidate have questions concerning the
position, please e-mail, call, fax, or snail-mail me.

Sincerely,
Tom
