I found the info that I was looking for. This information is published is a serial title "Federal Court Management Statistics" put out by the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts. For the most current data about a specific court one can call 202-273-2290 or 202-273-2156 and they will fax it to you. Another person recommended the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts web site at
http://www.uscourts.gov for this info too.

Does anyone know of a study about the Federal District Court for DC that discusses the average time that cases move through that court? I am aware that this kind of study does exist for other courts, but have not been able to find one for the District Court for DC. I appreciate any help you can offer.
