First of all, I would like to thank the several librarians who came to my aid.
One offered a copy of the decision, another advise about going to the court,
another a potential web site for the decision.
In summary, this is going to continue to be a problem for us. The potential
solution appears to be web sites from the courts or from special interests
that will cover particular issues. I suggest that some of our experts who
have been setting up those excellent legal indexes for us look into some sort
of system to point people to web sites on a broader basis. I know this is a
dream, but something like--if you need a case from anywhere, look here.
Another solution is for newspapers to begin printing pointers to web sites.
(I know, I have been dreaming about this for years regarding online
databases--it will never happen).
Thanks again for the suggestions and offers to help.
Oh, I also received a call from a *helpful* document delivery company willing
to lend a hand.
